Project 1

In project 1, my teammates and I were given the task to research, design and simulate stress for a windmill blade. This project introduced us to Granta Edupack, a tool for material selection and research, where we were able to decide on a material suitable enough for an efficient windmill blade. For the designing process we used Inventor and learned the basics of constraints, planes, and stress analysis. This was the first project of 4 and it was an introduction to many new things including working in a virtual environment with 3 other team-mates and the process of collaborating on an engineering project.
